We found the highlights of Del Rio at the Val Verde Winery and Lake Amistad. Paul and I enjoyed discovering the winery in the old part of town. We tried to schedule a fishing trip to Lake Amistad, but were unable due to Andrew's schedule. It's a beautiful, clear lake with a reputation for growing some really big bass! I took this picture from the Air Force Marina dock looking at the bridge that spans the U.S. and Mexico border. Doesn't it look like Sturgeon Bay bridge?
